First of all, I want to thank you for visiting. I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I am a Christian wife, mother of two grown sons, and a retired elementary school teacher. I am striving to grow to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to help others to do the same.
My interests, after God and family, are family history, children's ministry, reading, and writing about various topics. I love everything old fashioned, especially the turn of the century - 1890s through early 1900s. I think I have developed a love for this era because it was my grandmother's childhood and young adulthood. She was a wonderful storyteller and shared many interesting tales of this time of her life.
As a retired baby boomer, I want this stage of my life to have divine purpose, just as the rest of my life has. I want to finish well.
